Brandi's "Vintage" Baby Shower

On the Sunday afternoon of May 5th, a themed Baby Shower was given to Brandi. The specialty theme chosen for this occasion was "Vintage Ducks". This shower was not only unconventional, it was a personal feat for "It's A Jones Affair". Brandi, who is the younger sister of our Executive Director, will be giving birth to her baby girl this June. 

Mom-to-be was showered with love, baby gifts and her favorite cuisine. The "Vintage" Baby Shower was hosted by two of Brandi's older sisters (Stephanie & Sherrie). 
Stephanie took care of the games and winner gifts, 
while Sherrie (Executive Director/Owner of "It's A Jones Affair") 

created the ambiance and decor for the event.

Dashya's Candyland Sweet 16

Honoree's Centerpiece



"It's A Jones Affair" had the pleasure of creating "Candyland" for a lovely young lady. 

The Exec. Director of "It's A Jones Affair" has known Dashya (Honoree) since she was born. "Dashya & her mother came to me and asked if I would do the honor of coordinating her Sweet 16. I felt more than honored to be apart of her milestone event in a capacity such as this", Ms Billops-Jones, Exec. Director states. "Her mother & I put our brains together to depict the concept of the game with the flare of her beautiful 16 year old daughter."

The 'Sweet 16' took place on a June evening in the Ballroom of a Dallas Hotel. Complete with a colorful pathway from the glass staircase of the hotel to the entrance of the ballroom. CandyLand theme centerpieces for each guest table (centerpiece derived directly from each version of the board game). A 3-tier square-shaped cake with colorful cupcakes. An extensive candy buffet, colorful balloons (strategically placed throughout the ballroom), dance floor w/stage, and a large (2.5 ft) handmade lollipop centerpiece with balloons for the lavish food buffet.

We are elated to say that Dashya loved the centerpieces and decor. Her friends & family enjoyed the decor and goodies as well.

Congratulations Monique!

I had the pleasure of creating centerpieces for the

Graduation Party of Miss Monique C. 

The party was given by her proud parents and took place at their

Family Home here in North Texas.

Monique graduated, Summa Cum Laude from 

Jackson State University (HBCU)

in Jackson, Mississippi.

Monique is a very close friend of my youngest sister, Brandi.

simply because Monique is such a beautiful young lady.
